The challenges of the past have made you what you are today.

The challenges you seek out and face now will make you what you are to become.

By pushing & trying as far and as hard as you can you will find where your limits are.

By pushing at the limits you will stretch them and you will grow in potential.

This is what we hear about the way to handle challenges. But you know what? I find this not working most of the time.I have found that, ” What I resist, persists.” Like the difficulty we face in sustaining a reduced weight through weight reduction programs. I believe the alternative way is to hold the ability to rewrite our default future to what we aspire for. What do you say?

Setting challenges for yourself and rewriting your future to my mind are one and the same thing. However, if you persistently meet failure of do not achieve what you are wanting to achieve then perhaps you have found a limit in potential. By trying, often by trying different approaches you can sometimes (but not always) go beyond your limit, setting a new limit.

In sport Usain Bolt is a great example of somebody consistently trying to go beyond their present limit.

By being persistent in meeting challenges, trying to change something, inevitably you will meet resistance either from others or from within yourself. The key is being persistent in making the effort to change.

Remember, there are many ways up a mountain, each path will take you to the top. You probably wont know which is the easy path and which the difficult or impossible when you set out. But if you want to ascend the mountain you have got start from some place and may even have to have several goes.

    Thanks for your comment.
